Convenience
I can officially put cups and plates on my belly! So convenient!!! I remember my mom being able to do this when she was pregnant with my brother. It has arrived for me now!

34 Weeks
We made it to the goal of 34 weeks! Praise the Lord! On Wednesday I was put on bed rest because I had already started to dilate. That was most likely due to the weight of the babies. So I was instructed to stay seated with my feet up and eliminate stress. So that's what I've been "trying" to do. It's hard. For those women out there who have to be in bed rest for months...I don't know how you do it! I have to remain this way until Tuesday when I see the doc again at which point I hope she'll let me go back to life as I know it.
Recent Happenings:
1. Was given two steroid shots to help expedite the growth of the babies' lungs.
2. No stretch marks!
3. Half my maternity wardrobe is no longer an option due to the size of the ever growing belly.
4. Was hooked up to a machine to monitor contractions. None yet. No pre-term labor!
5. Both cribs are assembled and in the nursery.
6. Met the pediatrician. Love him!
7. Met a man who claimed he had a vision we were having a red-headed boy. We shall see!!
8. I now need to be pulled/pushed from my seat to be able to get out of it.
9. Baby A is head down and Baby B is breech.
10. My work colleagues threw me a shower! So nice of them!!
11. We're nesting. Trying our best to clean the house and car and dog and get us ready.
12. Babies are each growing an inch/week.
13. I am officially always hot.
Maximum four weeks left to go!!!!

32 week photos
The little kiddos at 32 weeks! A picture of one of their feet, some hair, a great profile and the top of both of their heads!
33 weeks
So we're 33 weeks today and my belly is measuring full-term for a singleton pregnancy. And I can feel it!
Babies weigh an estimated 4 lbs 10 oz and 4lbs 6 oz which totals 9 lbs of baby! And they both have hair!
No Braxton Hicks contractions, at least what I can feel. Major swelling from the blockage that's protruding from the front of me we call the belly. Sleep is poor during the night as it's hard to stay comfortable. But afternoon naps have been a life-saver!
Both babies are breech with little chance they'll change now. Although not completely impossible. Breech means they're kicking me in my behind! Sometimes it takes my breath away!
We have the car seats in the car, diaper bag is packed, my hospital bag is packed and it appears that we're ready logistically.
Tonight we're headed out for Valentine's and still trying to enjoy our "just us" time.
5 weeks to go!!!!

30 Weeks
My mom had this picture from my shower. It's a perfect side view of what I looked like at 30 weeks! And here we are coming up on 32 weeks!

My Feet
As you can see, my feet are swelling. If you look at my feet you would think I weighed 300 lbs! But alas, the compression socks arrived! I hate these things, but I have to admit that they work. I just look like an 80-year old woman wearing them with ballet flats. 😗
