Yuko and Matt in town from Japan

Yuko and Matt stopped by Tuesday to meet the kiddos. I have been friends with Matt since middle school and each time we get together it is like we haven't missed a beat. We headed out to The Granary for dinner and it was great food with even better conversation. There was talk of visiting to hike Mt. Fuji or even for the Tokyo Olympics in a few year. I hope we can make that happen.

Mornings like this make waiting for fall completely worth it! A walk in the park with coffee in hand and my favorite people. Nothin' better.

Homemade Madness

For all of you out there who said we wouldn't/couldn't do it with a baby, much less two...bam!!! We made homemade bread and homemade pasta last night for dinner. And with that pasta we made delicious Linguine and Clams ( the best one we've done yet)!

Although it's true that we have frozen pizza or BLTs for dinner during the work week...we love cooking it up big on the weekends. Since we're not going out as much as we once were were bringing those meals in.
