Lake Sheila was fun this year albeit wet and venomous. We arrived Monday night and thought we had left the rain in Charleston. Unfortunately this turned out not to be the case. It rained on us EVERY DAY (literally) we were there. The funny thing is the first day it didn't rain Kathryn and I got sunburnt and couldn't enjoy the one other day it didn't rain. That said we had visits from Morgan, Martin, Ivania, Sophia, Joe and Joan which made the indoors fun. I should also mention the first day we were able to swim we saw a snake under the water (I thought they had to be on top) right near Mom's feet as she was getting out of the water. I got on a sand up paddle board and followed it to the neighbor's yard where it crawled out to sun. We are not sure but it looks pretty bad and after that no one really wanted to go in the water. Sheila might be done for us. Lets see if we can forget in a year.
